ZooLights - Smithsonian National Zoo

Enjoy an evening stroll through the National Zoo, surrounded by some of nature’s most incredible animals… and their LED counterparts! The Zoo heightens the atmosphere with festive live music and special exhibits. Be sure to check their website for a calendar of events.
Georgetown GLOW - Georgetown

Historic Georgetown is the backdrop for this spectacular curated exhibition of interactive, outdoor light art installations. You will love the juxtaposition of some of America's oldest buildings opposite contemporary light displays. If you still need to finish Christmas shopping, this is the perfect opportunity!
Winter Walk of Lights - Meadowlark Botanical Gardens
5:30-10 pm, daily through January 8, 2017
One of Virginia’s best botanical gardens is transformed into a dazzling light show you can walk through in under one mile! Stick around to visit the Snowflake Shoppe, warm up with hot chocolate and S'mores, or to participate in one of their special events.
Festival of Lights - Bull Run Regional Park
5:30-9:30 pm, daily through January 8, 2017
A perennial family favorite, a 2.5 mile drive through Bull Run Regional Park will have everyone in the car “ooh-ing” and “ahh-ing” at the incredibly festive light displays. A little insider tip: tickets are discounted Monday-Thursday. Perhaps an excuse for a midweek pick-me-up?
