After Work Sips in TysonsTysons is growing rapidly. It was just named the 4th largest CBD on the East Coast after New York City, Washington, DC and Boston, and ahead of major cities such as Philadelphia and Baltimore. If you have ever driven in Tysons at rush hour, this is not hard to believe as it seems all of Virginia is trying to merge onto the Beltway. In the last few years, Tysons has undergone a major change. Once known for its incredible shopping malls and concentration of office buildings, Tysons has now begun to attract world-class restaurants, cafes and bars, transforming the area from a dull collection of mid-rise offices into a vibrant hotspot where people actually want to spend time after work, and more and more, people want to live in Tysons. No longer does one have to drive to Arlington for an after work drink, there are plenty of luxe, modern options right in Tysons.
